LOU HAYTER
Lou Hayter is a London-based musician, DJ and musical director. As a highly regarded DJ, she has performed for an impressive list of clients such as Chanel, Miu Miu, Chloe, Paul Smith, The V&A and the Cannes Film Festival and recently Damien Hirst's 'Treasures of the Wreck of the Unbelievable' opening in Venice. Lou has an extensive collection of vinyl and has a vinyl DJ residency at London's Chiltern Firehouse, she can perform vinyl DJ sets upon request.
Lou supervises music for fashion shows and events. She was musical director for 3 years at the British Fashion Awards, co-wrote and sang on bespoke music for Paul Smith and Topshop Unique and was musical director for four catwalk seasons at Whistles. For fashion week 2019 Lou composed an original piece of music for the Adidas x Ji Won Chi presentation.
As a musician, Lou is one half of the band 'Tomorrow's World', a collaboration with JB Dunckel from the seminal French band Air. Tomorrow's World released their debut album on Naive Records to great critical acclaim, they are currently writing their second album. Lou previously toured the world as keyboardist for the Mercury-nominated band, New Young Pony Club. She recently released her debut single as 'Lou Hayter' which was playlisted on BBC 6 music, her debut solo album will follow in 2020 on Skint/BMG records.
