Born and raised in New Orleans, now living in Atlanta, Leonce is uncompromising, blending elements of American Urban and Experimental Electronica, a hardline style that influenced his development as a producer. He co-founded the infamous Club Morph in 2016 and its electronic-hybrid imprint label Morph Tracks. DJs supporting Leonce’s tracks have included DJ Holographic, Honey Dijon, Brodinski, Pangaea, Midland, Moxie, Joy Orbison, Leon Vynehall, Seth Troxler, Ben UFO, and The Carry Nation. 2023 was a banner year for Leonce, producing and headlining Atlanta’s Boiler Room in April, and then going on to tour in London, Berlin, Milan, Edinburgh, Manchester, and Barcelona. In August, Leonce supported the Atlanta tour stop on Beyonce’s Renaissance Tour, playing to a crowd of 70,000 in Atlanta’s Mercedes Benz Stadium. In October, Leonce remixed Kai Alcé and Ash Lauryn’s ‘Underground & Black’ and teamed up with British-Ghanaian artist Karen Nyame KG on the track ‘Nightryde,’ which featured in DJ Mag and Mixmag. November saw Leonce share the Elsewhere Main Stage in New York with Boys Noize. Leonce continues to push the envelope with every live set and release and is poised for a strong 2024, with a debut album forthcoming and an EU headline tour slated for May.
