In 1990 Steve Cobby formed Fila Brazillia with David McSherry. Fila went on to release 12 critically acclaimed LP's as well as over 70 remixes for artists as diverse as Radiohead, The Orb, Busta Rhymes, Black Uhuru, Simple Minds, James, A Certain Ratio and Moloko. The acclaimed compilation series Another Late Night was kickstarted by Fila’s mix in 2000. They also co-produced Greg Dullis debut Twilight Singers lp and co wrote with seminal US composer Harold Budd and seminal UK legend Bill Nelson for the Three White Roses collaboration. Their seminal tracks 'Mermaids' and 'Slacker' have now been released on Gerd Janson's Running Back label and with more re-releases in the pipeline for 2023 with long last material look out for the return of Fila.
