In light of the huge resurgence in contemporary electro & breakbeat that’s recently swept the globe, 22-year-old, Bournemouth-based False Persona has rapidly become a household name within the Electro and Techno scene. Since beginning his journey in production at the age of 14, he has made music under a handful of genres and aliases, but False Persona, a project he started in 2019, has undoubtedly been his biggest success to date. Alongside a slew of hugely successful self-released EPs and singles, False Persona has recently had a sell-out collaborative record accompanied by the iconic Australian producer Nite Fleit, has released on renowned labels such as International Chrome, Dionysian Mysteries, Typeless and a forthcoming record on Brokntoys that will be releasing at the end of 2022. As a result of his achievements in the production realm, his music has been played on huge platforms like BBC Radio 1 & Radio 1 Essential Mix, Boiler Room, Mixmag Lab and many more. In addition, he has also gained support from Prospa, Mall Grab, Partiboi69, Madam X, DJ Seinfeld, My Nu Leng, Nite Fleit, I Hate Models, Dave Clarke, B.Traits and many, many more. With the majority of his career forming during the pandemic, this young artist has finally been able to play his music out around the world, which has been a life-long dream. Over the past 6 months, he has already played headline shows in Paris, Ireland, Manchester and multiple London shows. Forthcoming gigs include Germany, Poland, Czech Republic and more to be locked in. It’s safe to say that False Persona is on the rise, and he has no signs of slowing down anytime soon.
